We have stayed in the Chamonix area quite a few times during ski season over the past decade. Barrie’s place is the best by far.
It’s in a great location, very close to Grand Montet (a 1 minute drive). The chalet is large enough to comfortably house 3 families with 2 kids each (possibly more), whilst still coming across as very cosy. There are amazing, unobstructed views of the mountains from most rooms.
The kitchen is really well stocked with all the utensils and cutlery you will ever need and has all the required equipment in terms of ranges, ovens, microwaves, kettles etc. It has 3 wifi routers so that every part of the house is well connected. The entertainment room is amazing and there is an additional cinema room downstairs.
The garage is huge and has a room for skis, boards, helmets etc. and came stocked with sleds for the kids. It also has a utility room with a washer and dryer. It really is the perfect family getaway for 3 families. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful cottage really very well equipped, the view is absolutely magnificent, the place is peaceful, ideal for meditation, recovery. Also very close to the departures of mountain walks towards the Tour or under the Aiguille Verte. The hot tub facing the Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi in the evening is the cherry on the cake. The owner Barrie is hyper-responsive. In summary, a dream stay!!

The chalet was perfect for our family group of 11 which included three young children. Barrie made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything for a brilliant holiday
The house was lovely and comfortable, hot tub was ideal for relaxing in on a sunny patio, the kitchen well equipped and we enjoyed cooking and eating there. A great place for a holiday in a stunning situation.

Great chalet and host, 100% aligned with our requirements. Location perfect and for us was ski in ski out for touring, off piste and sledding. Would recommend to friends. And will get back for sure.

The cottage is spacious, pleasant, close to Chamonix while being in a quiet area. The view of Mont Blanc is beautiful. Barrie is a very good host who agreed to receive us the same day following the cancellation of our previous reservation !!!
